Four years at the Saint Luc Institute in Tournai, Belgium, were the entrance to an infinite universe. There I learned about wood, drawing, clay modelling, bronze, painting, Art and its History. In addition to technique, it is above all a state of mind, research and knowledge that were transmitted to us.
Insatiably curious and as a musician, a violin taken out of a box in the institute’s workshop led me to the world of violin making. Without ever leaving my pencil and sculpture, I spent three years in the Vosges, in Mirecourt, this time listening to wood, learning rigor and the search for perfection.
From workshop to workshop and through my personal experiences, I then trained in drawing and sculpture in France, Belgium, Portugal and Italy. Lisbon is conducive to contemplation and Florence is a revelation for any artist.
Today, in my workshop in Domme, in Dordogne, I draw, model and carve the body, the portrait and everything that attracts my curiosity. In perpetual research, I invite you to discover the results of my experiments on this website.
